Amazingly sunny day, perfect weather for biking.

I drove up to Pendam and was just about to set off when Jon d'Hat, Spooker and Dandine arrived. So rather than set off on the Conti trail I decided to be sociable and go with them around the Summit trail, with the plan of doing the northern half of the Conti trail afterwards.

All was going well and then Dan started getting punctures. By the time we finished the Summit Trail he was onto his third puncture so we were a little behind schedule thanks to the unplanned maintenance stops. Jon and Spooks headed back to the cars whilst Dan and I headed off towards Nant-y-Moch for an extra little loop. Although Dan got an other puncture so I cut that short in the end as well and just did a short loop out to Nant-y-Moch and back... Probably a good thing as Dan was a broken man by the time we got to the last climb up to the start of the Hippity Hop section.

A good day out though in perfect weather with some nice views across the mountains.
